Acme Miniature Flea Circus @ Intuit

Chicagoans get their first chance to witness trained insects in action as the Acme Flea Circus makes its Chicago premiere this weekend at Intuit, 756 N. Milwaukee Ave. Today's performances are at 2, 4 and 6pm. Admission is $12, $10 for students, seniors, and members, and $8 for children under 12. Taste of the Neighborhoods Tour

Travel Chicago and savor cuisines from two different restaurants serving assorted small-plate samplers. Taste the nuances; talk exotic ingredients, techniques and cultures; and collect recipes. Dessert or sweets on the last stop are the cherry on top. These Arms Are Snakes @ SubT

Gnarly Seattleite post-hardcore quartet These Arms Are Snakes headline at Subterranean this evening, hitting town as they tour the U.S. Darker My Love and All The Saints are slated to open. The Eternals @ Hideout

Chicago's perennial dub-punk trio The Eternals pop up for a hometown headlining set at Hideout this evening. As of this writing, the rest of the billing was still TBA; so check back for further developments. The Hideout's Saturday night Dance Party follows, and Josh Abrams will be spinning for the duration.
