Primal Scream @ Metro

Even though Primal Scream has been associated with a fair amount of controversy over its career, their music has often transcended the bad press. From the drug-fueled acid house masterpiece Screamadelica to the rock-based Vanishing Point to the electronic XTRMNTR, the band has shown a flare for gliding among music genres and staying innovative. Their wildly inconsistent live performances are the type fans either talk about for years or walk out of midway through. Hopefully, they bring their A game to Metro. Ex-Whigs and MGMT tour accompanier Hank Sullivant's Kuroma opens. Tickets are $27.50. For more information, visit Metro.
