STATIC: A headphones tour

Everybody loves a good ghost story, and STATIC: A Headphones Tour follows the mystery behind Walter and Millie Burke, an eccentric couple that lived on the outskirts of town. Years later, Will and Margaret have found a cardboard box full of cassette tapes of Walter's daily recordings. The young couple follows a strange path to the Burke's mysterious home, documenting as they go. Sorting the truth from fiction, the audience moves through the rooms of the Burkes house with Will and Margaret as guides.

This show combines theater with art installation in an audio format similar to the headset tours found in museums. The audience experiences the story listening to headphones and moving through the space, interacting with artifacts and each other.

Tours start every fifteen minutes beginning at 7pm, North Lakeside Cultural Center, 6219 N. Sheridan Road.
