Rockabilly Chili Cookoff @ The Orbit Room
Bring your best chili and see if qualifies as the best in town. The winner gets cash! There will be several drink specials, including $4 Bloody Mary's so you can wash down some spicy tomatoey delicious chili with spicy, tomato-y, delicious booze. There is a $10 entry fee if you want to compete. The contest starts at 4pm and the judging is at 6. The Orbit Room is located at 2959 N. California. Sing-A-Long Sound of Music @ Music Box
The Music Box Theatre presents its annual sing-a-long version of The Sound of Music this afternoon at 1:30pm. The audience will be encouraged to participate by being given bags of props to be used at appropriate times, and costumes are encouraged.
