Anti-War Rally @ Federal Plaza

Rally on the anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. The rally will focus on the war in Afghanistan as well. Organized by the Chicago Coalition Against War and Racism, the protest will begin at 5:30pm at Federal Plaza, 200 S. Dearborn St.

Rhymesayers rapper and Doomtree collective member P.O.S. is performing tonight at the Bottom Lounge (1375 W. Lake). Joining him will be Dessa, Astronautalis, and F. Stokes. The show starts at 8 p.m. and is 17+. Get your tickets here or at the door.

Deakin, Glitter Bones, and Netherfriends @ The Empty Bottle

This should be a floaty/trippy/creamy/illustrious/heavenly/magical show. Animal Collective's Deacon headlines and Glitter Bones and Netherfriends open. The show starts at 9:30pm; admission is $12. The Empty Bottle is located at 1035 N. Western Ave. 21+.

E.M.P.A.C.T. Fundraiser Party @ The Wicker Well

The goal of E.M.P.A.C.T. is to spread culture, diversity, and knowledge of community issues while providing a common ground for activists, educators, artists, and community organizers to celebrate the commonality of their struggles. Tonight's party is a fundraiser for the Latino Union of Chicago. MC Luis Tubens will perform and there will also be live music from Magic Carpet, Matt Ulery's Loomand as always the People's DJs Collective spinning dance tunes. $5 donation, 21+. The Wicker Well is located at 1637 W North Ave. This party goes from 9pm to 2am tonight.

Tiny Houses @ (C)TAS

Take a peek at the lives of inhabitants and the transgressions they commit in the privacy of their little homes in this gallery installation by Ania Greiner-- 3 Card Molly and a sound performance at 7pm by Joseph Kramer. The reception is tonight from 4:30-8:30pm at The (Con)temporary Art Space: 208 S Wabash. The installation will stay up through March 24.

Vaudezilla's 'All Lathered Up' Bartop Burlesque @ Blue Bayou

Chicago's favorite burlesque troupe Vaudezilla is doing their spring cleaning with their newest bar top burlesque show 'All Lathered Up' tonight at the Blue Bayou (3734 N Southport Avenue). Grab your brooms and feather dusters (but leave the polishing to the girls) and belly up to the bar at 10pm sharp. The show is free, hosted by the always unpredictable Wham Bam Pam, and features Red Hot Annie, Jeez Loueez, Bonny Babs, Lula Houp-Garou, and other fearless broads. Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz @ Athenaeum Theatre

The riveting off-Broadway musical Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz, premieres tonight at 7:30pm at Athenaeum Theatre (2936 N. Southport Ave). Kicking off a one-week engagement with International Latino Cultural Center, Cruz takes audiences on a 60-year journey through the life and music of Celia Cruz--from her humble beginnings in Cuba to her international super stardom. Featuring a superb ensemble of 16 singers, dancers and musicians, the musical highlights the global icon's greatest hits. Tickets range from $35-$100.
