Mark Bazer's Interview Show returns to the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia, tonight from 6:30 to 8pm. This month Bazer's guests are chefs Homaro Cantu and Ben Roche, author Jonathan Eig, and human beatbox Yuri Lane. Admission is $5. 21+
Primatologist Jane Goodall presents "Gombe and Beyond: The Next 50 Years", a talk about "he meaning of the past five decades, the extraordinary changes the world has seen since 1960 and the impact those changes have had on people, animals and the environment." The Flesh Hungry Dog Show is bringing the awesome to the Jackhammer (6406 N. Clark) tonight at 9pm with an all-Chicago show that is sure to get you shimmying. Girls Night Out is part of Lillstreet Art Center's series of Mother's Day inspired workshops. This workshop is a one-night-only event that will teach women how to use a low-flame torch to make glass beads and have fun bonding and chatting. The workshop is from 6:30-9:30pm at Lillstreet Art Center (4401 North Ravenswood Avenue). $60 for members and $65 for non-members.
