Self-described "afro-folk kitchenware storyteller" Rob Reid plays at Uncommon Ground on Clark at 7pm, followed by Carmen Mikol and Matt Campbell. Reid has played in countless coffee houses, restaurants, farmers markets and neighborhood taverns, and issued his third solo album, The Principles of Crop Rotation, in December 2009. The Old Town School of Folk Music presents a Laughter Yoga workshop by instructor Judith Sample. From the workshop description: "Laughter Yoga is a non-traditional form that uses “fake” laughter in spontaneous ways along with yogic breathing to stimulate inner joy.The laughter becomes spontaneous very quickly."
