World Kitchen Learning Series: Exotic India
Take an edible vacation to the East at this class, which is part of the World Kitchen learning series offered by the City of Chicago. Class runs 6-8:30pm at Gallery 37 for the Arts, 55 East Randolph. Pre-registration required; admission is $30.
Salwomir Mrozek's The Police @ the Greenhouse Theater
The Organic Theater Company presents The Police by Salwomir Mrozek. The Police, a ferocious comedy, explores the unexpected consequences of a police force so efficient that all citizens have become law-abiding. In order to secure the existence of the system, the police must manufacture fake political dissenters. The play opens tonight at the Greenhouse Theater, 2257 N Lincoln Ave., and runs through June 27. Tickets for all performances are $29 (students and seniors, $20 with ID) and may be purchased by phone at 773-404-7336 or online.
