Celebrate the Wiggleworms Program's quarter century mark with a pajama party lead by kids' musician Laura Doherty. The Morlen Sinoway Guerrilla Truck Show is a FREE creative Chicago grassroots event sponsored by DIFFA that started in 2005 to give an opportunity to young and emerging artists, giving designers to showcase their products, art, and furniture. This year's emerging designers and Guerrilla Truck Show veterans will be celebrated from 5:30-9pm at 1052 W. Fulton Market.

Starting at 5:00pm, From Gaza to Beijing exhibit features the work of Gao Lei. Curated by Wu Hung, this exhibition runs until August 9th at the Walsh Gallery, 118 N.Peoria St. This series represents a rejection of both purely conceptual and purely documentary styles in favor of a redefinition and fusion of these dualist realities.
Every Tuesday the Museum of Contemporary Art presents free live jazz concerts from some of the city's most legendary and innovative musicians. Tonight's performance features Hanah Jon Taylor. Showcasing design from the Departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects (AIADO); and Fashion, this exhibition brings together work by graduate students that explores responses to gravity exemplifying fiction and advocacy through innovation and design.
The late-night lo-fi pop musings of Calibrated Crematorium (side project of Mannequin Men) emerge from the basement and unto the stage tonight at Wicker Park's Subterranean. Rounding out the lineup are local groups The Blamers, Deadlands, and The Black Birdies. $8. 8pm.
