Bowl-a-Thon teams will be competing for prizes to benefit Mary-Arrchie Theater so come cheer on your favorite team! There will also be wonderful prizes in a raffle and a silent auction. Click here for details on the teams and prizes. The Bowl-a-Thon goes from 7 to 11 tonight. Timber Lanes is located at 1851 W. Irving Park.
The second annual MAAF continues today (for its final day) in Logan Square, featuring curated art galleries filled with eclectic works in all media, live music on three stages boasting diverse and critically-acclaimed line-ups, theater, dance, film, vaudeville and other live performances, an indoor art market, a community mural, children's activities, local cuisine and Magic Hat craft brews, and last but not least, a freaking trolley! Most importantly, don't forget to stop by the Gapers Block booth. The festival is from noon to 11pm today. It runs along Milwaukee between Kimball and California Ave. in Logan Square.
Recent work by photographer David Schalliol will be featured on Sunday, July 25 at the newest location of The Opportunity Shop, 5225 S. Harper Ave. The show will be open from 12:00pm-5:30pm, with a community dinner open to the public to follow at 6pm.

Starting at 1:00am latenight OUT OF TIME FESTIVAL, a micro festival of time based arts kicks off at Happy Dog Gallery, 1542 N Milwaukee Ave! This three day fest is In celebration of the Mayan Day Out Of Time to rub out the calendars of the boards of the earth for ever and features works by Balta Pena, William Amaya, Sebasitian Alvarez, Instinct Control, Marissa Perel, Nick Edelberg, Justin Cabrillos, NIcholas Monsour, Tessa Siddle, Emily Smith, Heather Marie Vernon, Jedediah Logsdon, Max Alexander and The North.
