Tomeka Reid @ MCA's Tuesday on the Terrace
Every Tuesday during the summer the Museum of Contemporary Art presents free live jazz concerts from some of the city's most legendary and innovative musicians. Tonight's performance features cellist Tomeka Reid. Grab some friends and a blanket for a relaxing evening on the garden lawn, or make a night of it with a reservation at Puck's. Ice Cream 101
Summer's over, but ice cream's still delicious. So learn to make your own! In this class, taught by Sunny from the food blog Smart Cabbage, you'll learn about -- and taste! -- the difference between sorbet, sherbet, frozen yogurt, ice cream and custard. You'll leave with some great recipes that will work with or without an ice cream maker. I scream, you scream... well, you know. $10 class fee includes samples and instructional materials. Post War + Contemporary Art Sale @ Wright
