Facets Fright School: Carnival of Souls

Facets Cinematheque presents the latest in their current series of midnight movies, Facets Fright School. Mainstage Theatre's "The Complete Works of Willam Shakespeare" (Abridged) @ O'Malley Theater

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare are long, so Mainstage Theatre presentsa 90-minute roller coaster of Shakespeare. The performance begins at 7:30 pm at O'Malley Theatre, 430 S. Michigan Ave. Tickets are $6 for students, $10 for adults.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes @ Film Center

The Gene Siskel Film Center presents a week-long run of Howard Hawks' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, with the amazing female leads Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell on the search for love and fortune. Innervation Dance Cooperative's "Gods, Monsters, and Heroes" @ Theater Wit

Innervation Dance Cooperative presents "Gods, Monsters, and Heroes," a contemporary rock ballet based on Greek myths such as The Birth of Zeus, The Creation and Destruction of Medusa, The Sirens, and Orpheus and Euridice, set to music by popular artists including Pink, Feist, Coldplay, and Beck. The performance takes place at 8 pm at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont. Tickets are $20 for adults, or $15 for students and seniors. Vacation Group Art Show Opening @ Peanut Gallery

Peanut Gallery is having their third opening tonight-- a vacation-themed group show with paintings, drawings and photographs by twelve local artists: Daniel Schmid, Justin Nalley, Anna Timmerman, Bill Guy, Aaron Tucker, Christina Anderson, Jack Edinger, Edmund White, Sheena Jones, Kerry Couch, Charlie Megna and Kelly Reaves.
