Facets Fright School: Mystics In Bali

Facets Cinematheque presents the latest in their current series of midnight movies, Facets Fright School. Tonight's film is a gruesome Indonesian film from 1981, Mystics In Bali, famous for its disturbing imagery and dreamlike tone. The film will be introduced by Everything Is Terrible! member Katherine Rife. Facets Fright School starts tonight at midnight. Admission is $5. Winifred Haun & Dancers Flash Mob @ Oak Park

Winifred Haun & Dancers are hosting a flash mob in Oak Park today as part of Oak Park's annual Artrageous!. One performance will take place on the steps of the Hemingway Museum (aka Arts Center), 339 N. Oak Park Ave., at 11am, and the other on the plaza of the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St. at 12pm. Mainstage Theatre's "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" (Abridged) @ O'Malley Theatre

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare are long, so Mainstage Theatre presentsa 90-minute roller coaster of Shakespeare. The performance begins at 7:30pm at O'Malley Theatre, 430 S. Michigan Ave. Tickets are $6 for students, $10 for adults.

Noodle Class @ Ben Pao

National Noodle Day was this past Wednesday, but you can belatedly celebrate the holiday by taking a noodle dish cooking class at Ben Pao, 52 W. Illinois St. Ben Pao's chef Jim Hoveke will team up with "noodle expert" Phil Lee to demonstrate several noodle recipes, including peanut noodles, veggie chow fun noodles, and spicy dragon noodles. Hip Hopera @ Harris Theater

The New Millennium Orchestra presents this fun musical program for kids and tweens with a program explores the intersection of popular music and classical opera. Art Book Swap @ Art Institute Library

Bring art books you don't want and take home new titles that pique your interest at this swap organized by the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and Regency Arts Press, Ltd.. Leftover books will be donated to Urbana-Champaign Books to Prisoners. The swap runs from noon to 5pm in the Franke Reading Room of the Art Institute's Ryerson and Burnham Libraries. There is no charge, but participants must enter at the museum's Michigan Avenue entrance (111 S. Michigan Ave.), (312) 443-3671.

Cornucopia Fall Festival @ Eugene Field Park

The Eugene Field Park Advisory Council is excited to present the first-annual fall festival and craft fair, Cornucopia. This event will take place today from 10am to 4pm. Cornucopia will have something to offer every member in the family, including a petting zoo, pony rides, and pumpkin patch. We’ll also have local performers and tasty snacks for purchase. The Music Box Theatre and Movieside team up to present Music Box Massacre, a 24-hour festival of horror films that runs from noon today through noon tomorrow. The Chicago Outfit vs. Killamazoo Derby Darlings @ Windy City Fieldhouse

The Chicago Outfit slide into their final home bout of the season tonight when they face off against the Killamazoo Derby Darlings from Portage, Mich. The Outfit's Shade Brigade will also play against the Lafayette Brawlin' Dolls from Lafayette, Ind.

The bout takes place at 7pm at the Windy City Fieldhouse (2367 West Logan Blvd). Tickets are $15 if you buy them presale online or $20 at the door.
