Cock & Bull Theatre presents the final weekend of splatter fest Axe Lizzie & The Possession of Alice Von Truskin, written and directed by Chris Garcia Peak. Performances are for ages 18 and over only, and take place at Prop Theatre, 3502 N Elston, 8pm. Join America's first all female mariachi ensemble, Mariachi Reyna de los Angeles, for an energetic performance. This 12-member ensemble is Grammy-nominated and continues to break stereotypes and shape new cultural traditions. The performances begins at 5pm at Harris Theater, 205 E. The Logan Square Kitchen, 2333 N. Milwaukee Ave., hosts a weekend-long pastry and confection market featuring treats from an array of local businesses (e.g. Fritz Pastry, Katherine Anne Confections,TinyCakes) to celebrate the spookiest of seasons. Runs 10am-3pm both days; admission $1 (kids free).
The Old Town School of Folk Music presents a Spooky Singalong for the whole family to attend. The singalong will be led by the school's Wiggleworms faculty, and you are encouraged to attend in costume. The singalong begins at 11am in the concert hall at 4544 N. Lincoln Avenue.
