Shut Up and Laugh @ Abbey Pub

Local comedy veterans Cynthia Levin (ABC, Comedy Central, BET), Jeanie Doogan (The Improv, Zanies), and Emily Lake (The Improv, Mikey O Productions) present the first in a recurring series of Sunday evening shows called Shut Up and Laugh. The show begins at 7:30 pm at the Abbey Pub, 3420 W Grace St. The show is 21+.

RRIICCEE @ Lincoln Hall

Featuring Vincent Gallo, RRIICCEE is about composing and performing music at the same time, yet it is not quite improvisation. If you are familiar with the score for Buffalo '66 or with Gallo's When, and if you found his work striking before, tonight would be a good time to see and hear new music happen, to walk in with little expectations, to leave with an air of surprise. RRIICCEE at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave, at 8pm. Tickets are $20. 21+

Wine 101 @ Cellar Rat

The class, which of course includes tasting, costs $25 and starts at 5:30pm. Cellar Rat is located at 1811 W. North Avenue.

Che "Rhymefest" Smith kicks off his aldermanic campaign with a concert at The Shrine, 2109 S. Wabash Ave. Lupe Fiasco, DJ Tony Sculfield with DJ Reddy Rock, and DJ 33-1/3 open. Tickets are $35, $75 for VIP. Doors open at 9pm.
