A Tribute to Kate Bush @ Late Bar

Despite never touring in this city, for a dedicated number of fans the lasting influence of Kate Bush's music permeates in a variety of different artistic and cultural realms. During this eclectic tribute to the singer, DJs play Bush's music along with the music of artists she has influenced. Two performers will also make their drag debut in full-Kate Bush regalia. A Tribute to Kate Bush takes place from 10pm to 4am at Late Bar, located at 3534 W Belmont. This event is 21+ and free.

The Tofu Chitlin Circuit @ The Digital Youth Network

The Digital Youth Network, 1050 E. 47th St., hosts The Tofu Chitlin Circuit's "A La Carte" panel discussion on the controversy surrounding filmmaker Tyler Perry's latest film, For Colored Girls, tonight from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Panelists include Ebonyjet.com film critic Sergio Mims, Jackie Taylor, playwright and executive director of the Black Ensemble Theatre, and filmmaker Barbara Allen. Admission is $5. Funny Ha-Ha

Funny Ha-Ha returns to the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia, tonight from 7 to 8:30pm. Claire Zulkey hosts readings by author and A.V. Club writer Nathan Rabin, Chicago magazine senior editor Cassie Walker, Second City's Joe Janes, Write Club overlord and Encyclopedia Show factchecker Ian Belknap, comedian Ken Barnard and short films by Joe Avella. $5 suggested donation benefits the Neighborhood Writing Alliance. 21+

From a single audience suggestion the talented cast of "In a World..." creates an entire universe of comic characters and situations. From the richly observed to the patently silly, the people you meet in "In a World..." are sure to make you laugh. Sit back, have a drink and let Aidy Bryant, Chris Day, Nancy Friedrich, T.J.
