The Neo-Futurists presents their annual New Year's Eve performance of their long-running show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. Doors open at 9:30pm tonight at the Neo-Futurarium (5153 N. Ashland at Foster), and the performance of the show begins promptly at 11pm. When the show finishes exactly 60 minutes later, the cast and audience celebrate the New Year! Ring in 2011 sweating it out on the dance floor at Lincoln Hall with Chicago's own Flosstradamus and special guests Gemini Club and Prefrosh. The party kicks off at 10pm. Tight Five Productions is teaming up with Blewt Productions, the team that bought you the smash hit live game show Impress These Apes, to present the city's most off-beat and affordable alternative to this year's New Year's Eve events. The fifth annual "Chuckle Bowl Spectacular" takes place at Chicago's retro Lincoln Square Lanes (4874 North Lincoln Avenue) on the North Side and features the following: a one night only revival of Blewt's popular live audience-interactive game show Don't Spit The Water, open bowling in all 12 lanes throughout the event - enhanced by theatrical lighting and music from renowned DJ "Bubbles Sanchez", multiple video screens showing some of the funniest offbeat film footage ever committed to celluloid, a midnight toast with Miller High Life, free pizza and full, value-priced bar featuring $3.50 domestics and $5 shots. 9pm - 1:30am at Lincoln Square Lanes (4874 North Lincoln Avenue). Chicago's The Smoking Popes are playing Reggies Rock Club, 2109 South State St., this New Year's Eve with Company Of Thieves, The Fold and August Premier. The Smoking Popes will play songs from their new record, This is only a Test, which comes out on Asian Man Records March 15.

Panic DJs Pogo and Arturo mark the arrival of 2011 with their residency at Darkroom. The monthly Britpop/new wave/indie/etc. dance party will include guest DJs Nando, Victor Lua and Misa. Roxaboxen Exhibitions has gathered some of the best handmade posters made in 2010 from events around the city.
