Lock Picking Workshop @ Pumping Station: One
Pumping Station: One, the Chicago hackerspace, hosts the monthly meeting of TOOOL (The Open Organization of Lockpickers) tonight from 7pm to 9pm. Folks interested in learning the art of lockpicking are invited to attend. The event happens at the PS:1 space at 3354 N. Elston. See the PS:1 Website for full details on this event.
The Encyclopedia Show @ The Vittum Theatre
For tonight's production, The Encyclopedia Show is taking on the word BRAINS and featuring writers, composers, and even a special interview with a professional neurologist! The show starts at 7:30pm at The Vittum Theatre (1012 N Noble St), with tickets at the door ($8 adults, $5 students).
Soup and Bread @ The Hideout
Soup and Bread, the weekly fundraiser for area food-related charities, kicks off its third season at the Hideout, 1354 West Wabansia, from 5:30-7:30pm. Show up, eat soup cooked up by a team of volunteer foodies and bread donated by bakeries and pastry classes, and throw in a couple of bucks for your share.
