Martyrs and The Moth present the monthly story slam tonight at 8pm. Ten people picked from the audience will each tell a 5-minute story, with tonight's winner earning a place in the Grandslam Championships. Dance Films Kino curator Sarah Best and Hyde Park Art Center's Artist in Residence Mark Jeffrey present a viewing and discussion of short, visually and performance art-influenced films by UK-based Lucy Cash, a member of Chicago performance art group Goat Island (1987-2009). 6-8pm, 5020 S.
