Sean Flannery's one-man show, Never Been to Paris, follows up a sold-out run last fall with a second run this spring at the Chicago Center for Performing Arts, 777 N. Last year Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. released their Horse Power EP to a sea of listeners who commented, "This is not what I thought a band with this name would sound like." The Detroit duo's music features influences from electronic and hip hop in its beats, folk in its guitars and pop in its harmonies. It's a sublime amalgam. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. headline Schubas. Melburnian electronic quartet Miami Horror return to Chicago promoting last year's Illumination album. In tow is Brooklyn's Class Actress, featuring sultry vocals and a cool St Etienne-like vibe. Millionyoung opens at 10pm. The show's 18+ and $12. Lincoln Hall's at 2424 N Lincoln.
An exhibition of work by international street artist Gaia opens tonight at Maxwell Colette Gallery, 833 W. Chicago Ave., with a reception from 6pm to 9pm. Gaia: Resplendent Semblance is on display through May 7.
