Godspeed You Black Emperor @ the Vic
Montreal's post-rock titans Godspeed You Black Emperor have infuriated fans with punctuation alterations and political diatribes, but there is no denying that during their heyday they stood out from the field by making some of the most engaging experimental instrumental rock music of the era. After a hiatus, they've now reconvened for some live shows. Tonight marks the last of three in Chicago. Godspeed You Black Emperor headlines the Vic. Tickets are $24 and the show starts at 7:30PM.
