Artropolis: Art Chicago, NEXT & International Antiques Fair

Artropolis, a massive arts and culture event encompassing Art Chicago, NEXT and the Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair, runs April 29 through May 2 at the Merchandise Mart, Kinzie and Wells streets. The shows are open from 11am to 7pm Friday and Saturday, 11am to 6pm Sunday, and 11am to 4pm Monday (the antiques fair closes at 3 on Monday). Tickets are $20 for adults ($25 for a multiday pass, $35 with an art tour), $15 for seniors and students.

Local H @ Metro

Local H plays all their hits (it's "The Singles Tour - 'All Hits All Night'") tonight at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St. The Weeks open. Doors are at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door. All ages.

Night Lab: The Science of Extinction @ Schubas

Ravenswood Run 5k

New to Lincoln Square, and not sure how best to get the lay of the land? Or just feeling sporty with all this spring(ish) weather? Fleet Feet and and Ravenswood Community Services invite you to exercise either impulse in the 5k Ravenswood Run. Registration is $35 during race week (that's now!), or slightly more if you add an optional donation to a local food pantry.
