If you've ever thought modern dance suffered from a lack of magic tricks and booty shaking, this may change your mind. We Stand Sideways performs "Ta Da! The Assistant's Revenge," playing off the well-worn trope of the magician's assistant to explore objectification and gender equality. If that sounds too heavy, rest assured there will also be nudity (!), though it's not clear if anyone will be sawed in half. Last performance! $12 at the door, $10 for artists, The Underground Lounge, 952 W. Newport Ave., (773) 327-2739. Show starts at 10pm.
