The Gene Siskel Film Center presents the kick-off screenings for a Charlie Chaplin festival that will run through June 30. This afternoon you can see City Lights at 3:15pm, and Modern Times at 5pm. You may see either program separately, or purchase tickets for both programs at a discount. Lake Shore Drive closes from Bryn Mawr to 57th from 5:30-9:45am today for Bike the Drive, an opportunity for cyclists to take over for a quiet, gorgeous ride along the Lake. Event sponsored by Active Transportation Alliance; admission $40-55.
