Story Club is a monthly storytelling series that has been featured in Time Out Chicago, Gapers Block, Metromix, the DePaul Writing Center website, and is recommended by the Chicago Tribune. At each meeting of Story Club there are five open-mic slots and two featured readers; open mic sign-up is at 8pm, go time at 8:30pm at Uncommon Ground (3800 N. Clark). The 9th annual ArtFutura is a juried art exhibition of more than 150 emerging and established artists benefiting the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Art Therapy program. All events including the Opening Night Awards Party tonight take place at the Ryan Family Atrium of NU Lurie Center (303 E. Superior St.). Proceeds from this event allow the hospital to maintain an Art Therapist at the hospital to work with patients. More information about this event can be found here.

Born Lincoln Beauchamp on Chicago's South Side, the entertainer will discuss his life and career, and will treat the audience to a live musical performance.
