It's the second Tuesday of the month, time for the June installment of This Much Is True at the Hopleaf (5148 N. Clark), the storytelling series that offers an intimate peek into each of their writer's lives, revealing the humorous, embarrassing and poignant moments that make up a life remembered. Cheesemaking 101 @ Whole Foods Market

Craving cheese that's so fresh it deserves a good face-slapping? Make your own! At this demo, taught by GB's own Sunny, who writes the food blog Smart Cabbage, you'll learn to make simple, affordable cheeses -- ricotta, paneer and chevre -- and get some pointers on elegant, fast presentations for your freshly made creations. Food Truck Tuesdays

If you too are skeptical of the food truck hype, you may want to head to the northwest corner of North and Halsted tonight between 4pm and 7pm for Food Truck Tuesdays. At least four trucks will be there every Tuesday in June.

7th Annual Guerrilla Truck Show

Gourmet Wagon

Chef Matt Maroni of Gaztro Wagon will be at Treasure Island (2121 N Clybourn Avenue) tonight from 7pm-9pm cooking up a whole mess of tasty vittles at a cooking class.
