Fork in the Road Tours: Tour of Asia

Meet at Kitchen Sink Cafe, 1107 W. Berwyn, today at 11am for a bike-guided tour of Indian, Thai and Central Asian fare in the area. Tour led by Fork and the Road; tickets $50. Event ends at 3pm.

Minor Art Attack Craft Fair/Benefit @ 2055 W. Erie

This is not your run of the mill craft fair. This is a community gathering together to help a school in need, with local crafters and artists coming together in support of Madero Middle School in Little Village (28th St. and Kedzie), a 90% reduced/free lunch school in need of books. Check out the newest goods from over 20 kick ass local crafters, artists and vintage sellers.

Want to kick it up a notch? Bring books (any subject manner as long as in decent condition) to donate to Open Books Ltd., an organization that helps provide funding for literacy programs right here in Chicago. This event takes place today from 12pm to 6pm at 2055 W. Erie. More details here.
