Samba Django @ Old Town School of Folk Music

Tonight's "World Music Wednesdays" performance at the Old Town School will be helmed by Mauritanian musician Samba Django. This folk singer of traditional Fulani music has been based in Belgium since 2002. Like what you hear and wish you could mimic these musical stylings? Follow up with tomorrow's workshop!

The Encyclopedia Show

The Encyclopedia Show puts on an anthology performance of the best work from the past season, featuring music, poetry, art and spoken word by Chris Bower, Kristana Colon, Kevin Coval, Molly Meacham and others, tonight at 7:30pm at the Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble St. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children and students.
