Goose Island hosts its annual festival of locally brewed Belgian-style ales at the Clybourne brewpub, 1800 N. Clybourn Ave., today from noon to 4pm. Sample beers from more than a dozen breweries and talk with the brewers. Tickets are $25, with proceeds benefiting Growing Power.
Formerly the Boulevard Lakefront Tour, the Active Transportation Alliance sponsors this bike-led tour of several different neighborhoods in the city. Choose from 12-, 35- and 65-mile-long tours. Supported ride with drink stations, and a party at the end. Admission $15-50. Takeoffs begin at 6am depending on route.
Moving Design's Call to Action safe bicycling project culminates with Our Road, a multidisciplinary gallery exhibition and public engagement campaign on the advancement of bicycle safety, today from 11am to 3pm at Comfort Station Logan Square, 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave. Free.
Ald. Joe Cappleman leads a free bike tour of Uptown and the lakefront starts today at 10am from Uptown Bikes, 4653 N. Broadway, and ends at the Sunnyside pedestrian mall between Magnolia and Malden, where light refreshments refreshments will be served.
