Free or Equal Screening
The Chicago chapter of the America's Future Foundation hosts the Chicago premier of Free or Equal with with Johan Norberg, a documentary following up on economist Milton Friedman's TV series "Free To Choose," tonight from 6pm to 8pm at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, 415 W. Dearborn Ave. Producer Bob Chitester will be present for a Q&A after the screening. Admission is $10; RSVP to chicago@americasfuture.org or on Facebook.
Big Night Animal Fundraiser @ Chicago Cultural Center
This fundraiser for the Friends of Animal Care and Control benefits the thousands of homeless animals that make their way through the doors of the City's Animal Facility. Event features food from a range of local chefs (Koren Grieveson of Avec, Jill Barron of Mana Food Bar, etc.), a silent auction, food and entertainment. Event starts at 6pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E Washington. Tickets $90.
