Family Farmed's Autumn Harvest Supper @ Heritage Prairie Farms

In case your celebrity chef addiction wasn't adequately sated at Chicago Gourmet, here's another chance to mingle with the big names. Family Farmed's Autumn Harvest Supper this year features Stephanie Izard and Giuseppe Tentori of the BOKA Group, who will create a multi-course (and given the timeline, lengthy) meal. Buses equipped with mixologists are available for the first 100 attendees who register, meaning you can start the party downtown and not have to worry about getting back from Elburn -- which is a trek, believe me. A book singing for Izard's new tome, as well as tours of the Heritage Prairie operations will round out the day. Tickets are $125, available online; dinner starts at 3:30pm at Heritage Prairie Farms, 2N308 Brundige Road, Elburn, IL 60119. Buses will depart Chicago at 2pm from The Girl and the Goat and from BOKA.
