Story Lab stands apart from other series in the city in its accessibility and unmitigated audience support for the performers. Join storytellers and story lovers at the Black Rock (3614 N. Damen) where each month, an entirely different lineup of up-and-coming storytellers share their freshest pieces. This month's readers include: Barton Longacre, Brenda E. The Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn, hosts "Artist Encounter: RACE Featuring Resident Director Chuck Smith, tonight from 6pm-7pm. Join Smith, along with a panel of other artists, for a discussion about the role of the artist in advancing dialogue about race in American society.
