Night Lab: The Science of Love and Attraction @ Schubas
Science is Sexy brings you a night of learning the science behind l'amour and all that other smooshy stuff in addition to research on online dating, and how sex is portrayed in films. NU Psychology professor Eli Finkel and Rebecca Fons of the Chicago International Film Festival will be in attendance to talk and be talked with. Are you that special someone? Event is at Schubas (Belmont and Southport) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Free.

Dose Market brings together food and fashion at the River East Art Center, 435 E. Illinois St., from 10am to 4pm today. Peruse gourmet food and drink and shop the latest fashions; see a vendor list here. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
Sunday Bloody Sunday @ Chicago History Museum
Visit some of the city's best places to get a bloody mary while discussing such sundry topics as Valentine's Day (or the Saint Valentine's Day massacre) today with the fine folks from the Chicago History Museum (1601 North Clark). Event runs 1-4pm; tickets $25-30.
Gapers Block Dance-a-Thon @ Quenchers
Join us at Quenchers Saloon for a full-day dance marathon this Sunday, February 12th at 3pm. We will have a DJ Mu-Mu James spinning live, all sorts of entertainment and the afternoon will be hosted by the country's most listened to LGBTQ podcast, Feast of Fun! Comic Kristin Clifford and go-go dance troupe The Revelettes will add entertainment value. Bring a can of food for our food drive, and enter to win dance-related raffle prizes! Chefs and brothers Michael and Patrick Sheehin, who have experience at some of the nation's best restaurants (wd-50, Blackbird) under their toques, join forces for a pop-up dinner tonight, Monday and Tuesday at Logan Square Kitchen, 2333 North Milwaukee. A five-course meal with wine pairings is yours for $120/person; reservations required. Seatings 7:30pm on Sunday and 5:30pm-9pm on Monday-Tuesday (times vary each day; check their schedule for info).
