Story Lab @ Black Rock

Story Lab stands apart from other series in the city in its accessibility and unmitigated audience support for the performers. Join storytellers and story lovers at the Black Rock (3614 N. Damen) where each month, an entirely different lineup of up-and-coming storytellers share their freshest pieces. This month's readers include: Jen Daniels, Dana Jerman, Louis Knapp, Kerry Maiorca, Mike Manship, and Blake Richter. Hosted by Scott Whitehair of the reading series This Much is True. Live Music Tonight at Carnivale

Grab your dance shoes and head on over to Carnivale for live Bachata, Mambo, and Salsa music at 7:30-11:00. This show is part of Carnivale's February concert series. Admission is free and there's a $5 valet special. This event runs every Wednesday in the month of February and is a great way to get over "the hump".

CAF Lunchtime Lecture

The Chicago Architecture Foundation's Lunchtime Lecture series this week features architect Tom Lassin of Holabird and Root discussing the recent renovation and restoration of the Monroe Building.
