11 Jazzy Divas @ DuSable Museum
The DuSable Museum of African-American History, 740 E. 56th St., presents "11 Jazzy Divas," tonight from 7:30pm-10:30pm. This event, which celebrates Women's History Month and features 11 Chicago-based vocalists including Julia Huff, Joan Collaso and Maggie Brown, pays tribute to legendary African-American women in jazz. The Sweet and Sour Poetry Hour @ Let Them Eat Chocolate
Chocolate and poetry--do we need to say any more? Tonight The Sweet and Sour Poetry Hour celebrates its third edition with an open mic (starting at 7pm) and special guest performances (starting at 7:30pm), including Kevin "Bam" Smith and D-Nick the Microphone Misfit, at Andersonville's Let Them Eat Chocolate.
