Progressive Tag Sale
It's yard sale season and three different artist studios in Oak Park are kicking off the season right with a Progressive Tag Sale today beginning at 1pm and going until 6pm. Begin with an open studio and fire sale at 400 N. Harvey, then travel just north to 410 N. Humphrey, then pop over to 942 N. Harvey. Aside from the three hosts, several others will be selling items at these locations, so bring a few reusable shopping bags and stock up.

Bionic duo Human Tim + Robot Tim perform a kids' show at Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont Ave., at 11am. Tickets are $6.
Traditional Irish Session @ Abbey Pub
Didn't get enough Irish music yesterday? Larry Nugent hosts what's billed as the "longest running traditional Irish session" on Sundays starting at 4pm at Abbey Pub, 3420 W. Grace. Today's session is sure to be grand, assuming everyone's hangover has subsided. No cover, 21+
Story Week Kickoff Party
Columbia College's Story Week kicks off with a party at Buddy Guy's Legends, 700 S. Wabash Ave., tonight at 6:30pm. Hosted by 2nd Story's Megan Stielstra and Bobby Biedrzycki, the evening will feature storytelling by Devon Polderman, Kathie Bergquist, Lisa Schlesinger and Germania Solorzano, as well as music by Seeking Wonderland. Speed Rack @ Bottom Lounge
Speed Rack, a speed bartending competition for women, comes to the Volcano Room at Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St., from 3pm to 7pm today. Tickets are $25 All proceeds from the event will go to breast cancer education, prevention and research. 21+
