Here's the Story @ Stage 773

Tonight, Here's the Story will celebrate one year. If you haven't checked them out yet, their anniversary show would be the perfect time to do it! Come to Stage 773 (1225 W Belmont) at 7:30pm (no fooling, we promise) to share some food, some fun, and, of course, some stories. Admission is $5, but if you bring food to participate in the potluck, you get in free. Click here to check out the great line-up of story-tellers they have for you!

ICE Chicago Benefit @ Longman and Eagle

The International Contemporary Ensemble holds a benefit for its programs in music education and performance tonight at Longman and Eagle, 2657 N Kedzie. Tasting menu from chef Jared Wentworth, drinks, a silent auction and performances by ICE artists is on the bill. Event starts with a champagne reception at 4pm; dinner 5-7:30pm.Tickets $150-300.

David Sprecher Opening @ Peanut Gallery

Peanut Gallery, 1000 N. California Ave., holds an opening reception tonight from 5pm to 9pm for FOOL, an exhibition of new work by artist David Sprecher. The show runs through April 29. Free.

Liar's Ride

Big Shoulders Realty and Chicago Velo host their annual Liar's Ride. Details are of course sketchy, but meet at Ciclo Urbano, 2459 W Division St., at 6pm if you're interested. Free.

Chicago Tap Dance Reimagines French Horror Film "Les Yeux Sans Visage"

Chicago Tap Theatre presents it's last run of "Eyes Without A Face", an interpretation of the French Horror film by the same name, today at 3:00 at Stage 773, 1225 W Belmont. The show features live narration by Marc Smith (known for his Green Mill poetry slam) & an original score by Andrew Edwards. Tickets are $20-$35 dollars. Expect dark humor, sophisticated storytelling, and a haunting score.
