Chicago Improv Festival

The Chicago Improv Festival runs April 23-29 at several locations around the city. Tonight's show is at ComedySportz, 929 W. Belmont Ave., at 8pm, and features performances by Ed & Kath, Dominizuelan and 1 World on 1 Stage. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students) and can be purchased at the ComedySportz box office or online.

Give Me 5 @ The Playground

Each Wednesday at 10pm, Chicago's brightest up-and-coming performers have the opportunity to test the audience waters through stand-up, video, song, dance - you name it! In homage to the Saturday Night Live audition process, Give Me 5 has adopted a new requirement of a time-honored and special talent - the celebrity impression.

Tickets are $5 and available at the Playground Theater's box office (3209 N. Halsted).

The Trouble With Harry @ Portage Theater

Tonight at 7:30pm, the Northwest Chicago Film Society screens Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble With Harry at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave. Their classic film series continues every Wednesday. Admission is $5.
