The Chicago Improv Festival runs April 23-29 at several locations around the city. Tonight features two shows. At the Annoyance Theater, 4830 N. Broadway, at 10:30pm, is Messing with a Friend with special guest Lance Baker, for $15 ($10 for students), available online or through the box office. At The Playground Theater, 3209 N. Halsted St., at 7pm, are Switzerland's Harri Olli Improvised Theatre and local troupe WiseSnatch, and at 9pm, pH Productions and Mullaney Chain peform. Tickets for each show are $15 ($10 for students) and can be purchased at the Playground box office or online (7pm, 9pm).
Tonight is the 19th annual Dining Out For Life around the Chicago area. Participation is simple: simply go out to dinner at one of the participating restaurants, and a portion of your bill will be donated to AIDS service organizations. Tonight's Full Court Press 2 is an all star jam session at the Abbey Pub, 3420 W.
