Tonight at 6pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Ave., 5th floor, Chicago Artists Resource hosts a panel discussion about how to turn your art experience into a job that pays the rent. Christie Anderson from Columbia College, Keith Griffith from Groupon, Nick Keenan from Marshall Creative and Rose Walker from Creative Circle give advice on how to market artistic skills in a way that looks great on a resume. Baderbrau Pilsner, Chicago's first craft beer, officially announces its relaunch with a press conference and tasting party at Binny's South Loop, 1132 S. Jefferson St., tonight. The press conference begins at 5pm, and the tasting will run from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Free, 21+.
The Old Town School of Folk Music plays host to the first Festival of Aloha, a four-day series of workshops and performances by several Asian and Pacific Island musicians, artists and teachers.
