Illinois Choice Action Team Spring Fundraiser
The Illinois Choice Action Team holds its spring fundraiser tonight at Mad River Bar and Grille, 2909 N. Sheffield Ave., from 6 to 9pm. For $30, enjoy drinks and a pizza buffet.

Tonight at 6pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Ave., 5th floor, Chicago Artists Resource hosts a panel discussion about how to turn your art experience into a job that pays the rent. Christie Anderson from Columbia College, Keith Griffith from Groupon, Nick Keenan from Marshall Creative and Rose Walker from Creative Circle give advice on how to market artistic skills in a way that looks great on a resume. Festival of Aloha @ Old Town School of Folk Music
The Old Town School of Folk Music plays host to the first Festival of Aloha, a four-day series of workshops and performances by several Asian and Pacific Island musicians, artists and teachers.
