Windy City Story Slam Championship @ Viaduct Theater

Only six semifinalists remain in the Windy City Story Slam crew; the championship bout is tonight. This year's finalists are Samantha Irby, Scott Whitehair, Shannon Cason, Luis Perez, Patrick Salem of the U.S. Marine Corps and Cara Brigandi. Hosted by Irvine Welsh. The Viaduct Theater, 3111 N. Western Ave. at 10:30pm; $10.

Exposures@FSC Featuring Holiday House

Dream Chicago hosts their first "Expsures@FSC" series tonight with the dreamy, rough and tender mash of music that is local duo Holiday House, as well as an interview with the group about their upcoming album. Tonight at 7PM at Fulton Street Collective, 2000 W. Fulton.

Guinness Ukulele Lesson Attempt @ Welles Park

As part of the ongoing Festival of Aloha at the Old Town School of Folk Music, the organizers invite anyone and everyone who can play an 'ukulele to stop by the bandshell at Welles Park (near Western and Montrose) this afternoon to participate in an attempt to beat the Guinness record for largest 'ukulele lesson. The record is 1,378 people, so if you can help out you're definitely invited to attend! The lesson kicks off at 2:30pm sharp, so make sure you're at the park well before that time. Admission is free, so bring your uke and be a part of history!

The Late Live Show @Stage 773

Taking the classic talk show format and giving it with a contemporary sensibility, The Late Live Show has everything you'd see in a late night show. Previous runs have included guests like Danny Pudi from NBC's Community, Olympic gold medalist Shani Davis, and director of Hoop Dreams and The Interrupters, Steve James.

Shows are every Saturday for six weeks, beginning April 21 at Stage 773 (1225 West Belmont). Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here, or at the door.

Blues Fest Preview Concert @ Sulzer Library

Barrelhouse Chuck and Katherine Davis perform a free Chicago Blues Festival preview concert at the Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave., today from 12:15pm to 1:15pm.

Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival

The Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival runs from noon to 10pm today and Sunday, May 26-27 on Sheffield from Belmont to School. Today's lineup includes 2nd Generation Pilots, Our Name is Jonas, Stache, Dot Dot Dot and Wedding Banned. $5 suggested donation.

Mole de Mayo

The fourth annual Mole de Mayo mole festival and cook-off runs today and Sunday, May 26-27, from 11am to 9pm on Peoria Street between 16th and 18th. Sample many, many moles from local restaurants, browse vendor booths, watch lucha libre wrestling and enjoy a wide variety of Latin-American musical acts, plus DJ sets by DJ Rebel X, Sonorama, DJ Soundculture and DJ Miss CedeƱo. Suggested donation $1-5.

The Randolph Street Market kicks off its summer season this weekend, May 26-27 at Plumbers Hall, 1340 W. Washington St. Browse antiques from more than 200 dealers inside and outside the hall from 10am to 6pm today -- and this year there's also a vinyl record "swap meet," gourmet food market and "global goods bazaar." Admission is $8 in advance online, $10 at the door ($3/$5 for students).
