As part of the Poetry Foundation's ongoing series of events, the first Tuesday of every month means a group of talented writers reading their stuff for our enjoyment. Tonight from 7-9pm at Quenchers, 2041 N. Western Ave, Free and open to the public.
The Hideout hosts a book release party by local theater group Theater Oobleck. The newly published book More If You've Got It contains five Oobleck plays, and tonight's party will feature scenes from Oobleck plays, live music, and a sneak preview of the next Oobleck production.
