The final day of Oktoberfest at St. Alphonsus Church,1429 W. Wellington Ave., is family fun day! "Kinderfest" provides activities from children from 11am to 2pm. Enjoy beer, brats, and all things German. There will also be a big screen to air the football game. Oktoberfest beings at 11am, and ends at 7pm. Free admission.
The 11th annual Ravenswood Artwalk, a "tour of arts and industry," runs Saturday and today along Ravenswood Avenue from Irving Park to Lawrence. Explore the many galleries, businesses and art studios in the area, and enjoy live music at Wilson and Ravenswood. The festival runs from 11am to 6pm today. Free.

The third annual Chicago Gourmet food festival runs Saturday and today in Millennium Park. Sample food from dozens of local restaurants, enjoy wine and attend cooking demonstrations by some of the city and country's top chefs. Single day tickets for Saturday are sold out, but tickets for Sunday and weekend passes are still available. The festival runs from noon to 5pm today.
The Hyde Park Jazz Festival runs Saturday and today in venues throughout Hyde Park. Dozens of artists perform for free, starting at 1pm. Shows are free, but donations are accepted and a $125 festival pass gets you priority seating at all events.
Australian rockers Slug Guts do an in-store performance at Permanent Records, W. Chicago Ave., tonight at 6pm. Free.
Full Moon Jam, an evening of music and fire dancing held under the full moon, happens tonight from sundown to 10:15pm (weather permitting) in the fields south of Foster Beach in Lincoln Park, at roughly 5000 N. Lake Shore Drive. Full schedule and details here. Free.
