Startup Grind presents a conversation with Jeff Hoffman, co-Founder of Priceline and uBid, tonight at 1871 in the Merchandise Mart, 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza, at 6pm. Tickets are $20. A networking session precedes the talk.
Me So Far presents a dating event for Red Line and Brown Line riders. Ten singles living on the Red and Brown lines present their lives in 4-minute PowerPoint presentations to a crowd of 50 more singles. Gapers Block's Chicago Bucket List columnist Niki Fritz will be one of the presenters. The event is tonight from 6:30pm to 9pm at Sushi Taiyo, 58 E. Ontario Ave., in the upstairs lounge. Admission is $35, with a portion of the proceeds going to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
