The Writers' Theatre, in conjunction with the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St., hosts the 7th annual The MLK Project: The Fight for Civil Rights, today at 12pm. Directed by Jimmy McDermott and starring Caren Blackmore, this one-woman show, featuring poetry, music and multimedia, is the story of a Chicago student's experience with studying the events of the Civil Rights Movement. The Chicago Sinfonietta presents "A Concert Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." tonight at 7:30pm. Led by noted music director Mei-Ann Chen and held at the Symphony Center, 220 S.
