CitySwarm Late Night Skate

CitySwarm hosts Late Night Skate tonight at the Rink at Wrigley. The event begins at 7pm at Bernie's, 3664 N. Clark St., with a buffet and beer, after which everyone heads across the street to skate. Admission is $29 if you register by Jan. 23, $39 after. 21+

Story Club @ Holiday Club

Come to the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Ave., tonight for the latest installment of Story Club. The theme this month is "bad plan," and features readings by Scott Whitehair and Claire Tibble. Spacewarming Party

Jackalope Theater Company is celebrating the grand opening of their new multi-use rehearsal and educational space at 8 p.m. in the north-side neighborhood of Edgewater. The party will feature visual art by Mikey Rioux, a performance in the spoken word by Shannon Matesky, live jazz by Blue Whale, and a performance by Brandon Moorehead and Rhapsody Snyder.

If you'd like to go to the event, you can simply rsvp on the event's Facebook page. The party is at 1106 W. Thorndale Ave, just steps from the Thorndale Red Line stop. The show is at 9, and last call is at midnight.
