Leslie Goddard, author of Chicago's Sweet Candy History: Images of America, leads a discussion of the photography exhibit Sweet Home Chicago currently on display on the 9th floor of the Harold Washington Library, 400 S. State St., today at 6pm in the Video Theater, lower level. Free.
This hybrid stand-up/storytelling showcase presents a special Valentine's Day edition featuring funny, horrifying love stories from Keith Ecker, Jen Bosworth, Sean White, and many more. Audience can put their name in a hat for a chance to tell their own story, and the winner (loudest applause) is invited back as a featured performer.
