Today at 9am, Susanin's Auctions (900 S. Clinton) is holding its February auction, which includes antique and mid-century furniture, paintings, prints, sculpture, chocolate molds, porcelain, glass, silver, rugs and carpets, Inuit and Native American pottery and carvings, Asian art, as well as some decorative art. If you are part of the masses that have been tempted to go whole hog, (pun intended) on urban agriculture, who have book-marked Williams-Sonoma's entire agrarian section, head over to the Garfield Park Conservatory this Saturday between 10am and 1pm for Chicago's first ever FREE Urban Livestock Expo. Truth be told the folks here have a much more realistic (financially and logistically) way of bringing livestock into your very own back yard.
