Syesha Mercado @ City Winery Chicago
City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph, presents singer and actress Syesha Mercado ("American Idol"), along with special guest, Broadway actor Chester Gregory, tonight at 7pm. Hosted by WCIU's Summer Jackson and featuring music by Chicago's own Verzatile Band, the concert will feature Mercado, who is currently starring in the Chicago run of The Book of Mormon, as she sings new and original music. Celebrate March madness tonight at 7pm with Michael Phillips and David Haugh as they discuss the 1986 classic Hoosiers at the Music Box, 3733 N. Southport Ave. Following the movie will be a discussion of the film's merits and its place in the pantheon of sports movies. Tickets are $15.
