Lake Effect Brewing hosts the Northwest Side Craft Beer Ride tonight starting at 6pm. Show up at any participating location -- McGills Bar and Grill, 4553 N .Pulaski Rd.; Golden Crust Pizza, 4620 N. Celebrating Real Women Of Craft Beer @ Riverview Tavern

Women's Beerpowerment is on tap starting at 6:30pm at Riverview Tavern (1958 W. Roscoe). Women employees of Two Brothers Brewing, Goose Island, Rock Bottom Chicago, Lagunitas, Greenbush Brewing, Metropolitan, 4 Paws Brewery, Temperance Brewing and Bottles and Cans will be on hand to talk shop, a screening of The Love of Beer (which chronicles the lives of three women brewers), along with tap specials AND a lady-made brew for the occasion. A portion of beer sales benefits Dress for Success. Event is part of Chicago Craft Beer Week.

Chicago Bulls Coach Phil Jackson @ Printers Row

Legendary Chicago Bulls coach Phil Jackson, famous for guiding the Bulls to six NBA championships and the Los Angeles Lakers to five, will be appearing at the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe St., tonight at 7pm as part of the Chicago Tribune's Printers Row. He will be discussing his new book, "Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success" with Chicago Tribune sports reporter K.C. Johnson.
